On Sunday 23 July 2017, the day after the Extravaganza, there was a Service of Thanksgiving for the Completion of the Bell Project at the Church.
The service was led by the Reverend Irene Smith, the local vicar, and the Archdeacon of Stoke, the Venerable Matthew Parker, gave the address.
The service was recorded by BBC Radio Stoke and broadcast as their ‘In Praise of God’ programme, their successful Sunday morning worship service, on 30 July 2017. The recording was directed by Lamont Howie who oversees BBC Stoke's Religious output. ‘In Praise of God’ is the longest running English Local radio dedicated religious programme.
